Cut-Away Nonwovens for Heavy-Weight Fabrics
Ideal solution for heavy-weight fabrics requiring enhanced stitch stability, particularly for designs with high stitch density. Known for their exceptional resistance to perforation, these nonwovens provide long-term stability to embroidery.
Once the design is complete, the excess nonwoven is trimmed with scissors along the edges, leaving a backing that reinforces the embroidery.
This makes cut-away non wovens especially suitable for knitwear and designs prone to broken stitches.
- Hoop the base fabric with the nonwoven in an embroidery hoop.
- Embroider the design.
- Remove the hoop and carefully tear away the nonwoven.
- Cut TEXTI 1970 slightly larger than the embroidery hoop.
- Hoop together with the fabric.
- Embroider the design.
- Remove the hoop.
- Turn the fabric inside out and carefully trim away TEXTI 1970 with scissors.
